lay down VS stand up tanning?
I have started to lay down, I think the stand up was a racket as I didnt have any extra glow or color. I have started lay down and burned a bit on my chest and a bit on the back, am I to rotate from stomache to back or simply lay in one position? I woudl like answers to this question, not answers tellingme tanning is no good.Thank you
Sometimes my back gets a little burned and overly sweaty so I flip over for a few minutes. I have noticed that my back tends to tan faster, so if you start to see that do half on your back and half on your stomach.

I switch betwenn lay down and stand up. When you lay down, you should lay on your stomach, then on your back, then on each side, all to get an even tan. When you stand up it get’s those hard to reach areas when you lift your arms. Maybe the bulbs werent too good in the stand up you were using. Do you use any lotion? I use CT Seven and it works great. Good luck!!

If your salon offers multiple levels try a tanning bed that has the complete 360 degree so there is no need to rotate. You may have possibly burned from the lay down bed if it is stronger than the stand up. I use the stand up once a week…but its a 12 minute session and I only go about 7. Also if you are not getting the results you want ask when the last time your salon changed the bulbs. 800 hours is ideal! You do not need to rotate from your stomach to your back, in most bed the bulbs on the bottom is a lower wattage then the bulbs on the top to compensate for the distance. The only thing I would recomend doing is the last 3-4 minutes of your sessions you lay with your hands above your head, this way you can help minimize the tan lines under your arm pit. Also if you find you get start to get the MOONS under you bum from when you lay down your butt folds down…sit on the edge of the bed for a few minutes every other session and that will helpw ith that.
