Can I take this for a deduction for my business?
I’m starting a business where I will be outdoors this summer. I am very fair skinned and it was suggested that I go to a tanning bed to get my skin adjusted. I’m not talking about a membership, just a few sessions. Can this be deductable?
Very doubtful – you really can’t directly relate it to your business (you can still perform your business functions without the pre-tanning or you could lay out in the sun before you start and get a natural tan).

Yes- if the expense is business related- it is deductible – if you are self-employed- it will go right on your schedule c.
