Considering you are predisoed to skin cancers I would not lay in the sun nor use a tanning bed. With pale skin it makes you more likely to get cancer. Always use at least 45 sunscreen and a special ont for the face. Natural tanning is just not for you. Sorry...
I would highly recommend a spray tan. They will put iit wherever you want. It is the very best thing for your skin. While on vacation take be sure to take jergens tanning lotion. Probably the lighter one for you. That will extend your tan while there. Be Safe & have a great time! !Hope this will help you. Good Luck!!
References :
Estitician

I need some healthy helpful tips for natural tanning.?
I will be going to central America this summer and will be in the sun on a daily basis.

I have extremely pale skin, a handful of moles (some which have been removed as they were cancerous looking) and freckles. Considering my disposition to burning easily, I've always covered myself in high SPF creams to protect myself from UV damage. Despite the use of creams, I do tan slightly (when using 40-45SPF), however my legs and midriff don't tan at all WITHOUT SPF, whereas my face, arms, and back do.

I've been told that you are less likely to burn once you are tanned. Now, I'll be there for a month at least, both in jungle inland and on the coast. I would like to gradually tan, get my freckles back (they disappear in winter) and still keep myself safe from incurring too much damage.

I know that even with a low SPF I am bound to tan faster everywhere but on my legs and stomach, so how can I get a relatively even tan, without laying myself out to bake (I won't really be able to).

I just don't want to tan above whilst my legs remain pasty-white sunlight refracting limbs.

Thanks.
